When the temperatures are high, it can become unbearably hot in UK houses, especially since many homes were designed for insulation and keeping the heat in! Air conditioning units are great at lowering the temperature to keep your bedroom or lounge (or any room of your choice) cool on those extra hot days.
They are more energy intensive than fans and use technology that makes them more expensive to run, however for those days of extreme heat we believe that a home air conditioning unit is worth every penny.
Many air conditioning units require external ventilation via a window, and for this a ventilation hose is usually provided with the unit.
